WELCOME TO MARCIA JAMES’ WEBSITE!

A

If you love your fiction well-seasoned with romance, humor, mystery, and sensuality, you’ve come to the right place! Smokey, my Chinese Crested hairless dog logo, and I welcome you and hope you’ll stay a while and check out my website. The following is one of my latest releases, but please check my Books page for more “Marcia James” titles. Smokey is particularly fond of At Her Command because in that book he goes undercover as a DEA drug-sniffing dog. My publisher picked one of his cousins for the cover, so Smokey missed his shot at being a cover hunk. But he’s happy to be featured prominently on my website.

Check out my “Klein’s K-9s” contemporary romance novellas, featuring the skilled staff and compassionate volunteers of a service dog training facility. Is there anything better than a sexy story with a guaranteed happy ending…and dogs?

While each of the Klein’s K-9s series is available individually, the LOVE PAWSITIVELY anthology includes the first three novellas in one ebook and print book:

“Racing Hearts”—Stock car legend, Tom “Torque” Tyler, faces a bleak future after a career-ending head injury. Service dog trainer, Meg Klein, and a tiny seizure response dog bring Tom hope and love.

“8 Hounds a-Howling”—Celebrity photog “Jax” Jackson volunteers to shoot the Klein’s K-9s’ dog-themed calendar. His hidden agenda: A second chance with Amy Walters. He never anticipated dive-bombing birds, runaway pigs, and 78 dogs who’d rather play than pose.

“Nothing But a Hound Dog”—After a night of hard partying, country music star Ryan “Rowdy” Gates is sentenced to community service at the animal shelter. To his surprise, he bonds with a tiny Basset Hound puppy. Shelter Director Cindi Landon offers Ryan a home, a family, and unconditional love.

While you’re here, don’t miss my Go Pets! blog, featuring monthly interviews with pro-animal authors and photos of readers’ pets.

In my eclectic career, I’ve produced training videos for submarine crews, penned TV spots for Chinese beer, and written pro-romance articles for my local newspaper. As a volunteer for non-profit organizations, I’ve organized film premieres and worked with celebrities from Tom Selleck to Clint Eastwood. (see Photos) Thanks to this diverse background and my wonderful, supportive soul mate (see About Me), I can draw on a rich base of experiences when writing romantic fiction.

I truly enjoy meeting fellow lovers of happily-ever-afters, so please check out my The Scoop page for book signings and other appearances, or contact me by snail mail or e-mail.

And, if you have a moment, explore my Web site, sign up for my e-newsletter announcements using the box to the right, and enter my contest.

Thanks for stopping by!
